Scrapbook Retreat

November 4-5, 2011
I have been looking forward to my scrapbook retreat since last February. Twice a year, I attend a scrapbooking retreat that goes from 3 pm on Friday to midnight on Saturday. It's my four days a year that I get to do what I love!

This year my good friend Selina Kotter came with me. Then on Saturday Inger Erickson came for the day. It was a BLAST. There were 40+ ladies scrapbooking, sewing, crafting, and just sitting and talking.

I'm already looking forward to next year's retreat!

Derek's Halloween Preschool Party

Derek wasn't too excited about dressing-up for his preschool party this year. After many tears were shed, he finally took off his James costume and threw it in the corner at school. He did fine the rest of class–as long as he didn't have to wear his costume. He's never done t hat before.... I hope it's not the start of something!

He sure loved the candy though. As soon as he got home he was busy making 2 piles of candy: one pile for him and one pile for Caleb {proud mommy moment, he's actually sharing without me telling him to}.

Craft-n-Laugh for Center Ward

I was called on 23rd as the 2nd Counselor in the Stake Relief Society Presidency. It will be sad to miss the connections with the ward presidency.

My last activity to help with in the Center Ward was our Craft-n-Laugh. 

It was a lot of fun. We had over 60 sisters attend.

Brennan Earned His Wolf

October 27, 2011

Brennan earned his Cub Scout Wolf Award. He has been working hard... with Clint's help. He has been looking forward to tonight for a few weeks now. He also earned one gold arrow point and six silver arrow points.

He has the best scout leader, Kristen Stone.

The rest of the Pack Meeting was on fire safety. The boys really got into it!
